Kipp & Friends - Kry
The mascots was created to be a familiar face that connects with children’s emotions so that they recognise themselves, empathise and are empowered through storytelling. These characters have come to live in healthcentres and on organic chanels.

Exploration and development
The breif was to create five characters based on a frog, a seal, a bear, a cat and a rabbit, while staying under Kry 2D world and guidelines.
During the evoulution of Kipp & Friends we did a bunch of research and evolved the charachter groups from the results.
This due to different charachteristics the animals have and what part they would play in childrens healthcare journeys.
One of our big takeaways was that the they could not look too young, so we started taking inspiration from teenagers to mix into the constellations.
When doing the final touches we adjusted sizes on the charachters to enhance some of their charachteristics and add to their traits and the group dynamic.
When we finalised the look of our charachters another important aspect we took with us was exaggerated emotions. Due to that I spent some time developing expressions.
Adjustments where made to easier be able to animate the charachters.
To build stronger recognintion I created a ´logotype´for each charachter. In that way kids who could not yet read could recognise the name and similarities to the charachters.
